Okay, on my second viewing of Sherlock…
aka “Why Won’t You Let Irene Adler Be Great?”

I also like this commentary. While I did love the “look at us both” moment, it bothers me that the lesbian falling for a man is more acceptable and becomes the focus of the episode as opposed to a straight man falling for a man, which is, I guess, too taboo. Between what hints the actual show gives us and what comes out in cast interviews where the actors seem hell bent to assure us that John and Sherlock are “just friends” I don’t quite know what to think. And I love that last point palaceoffunk makes in her commentary, about the end of the episode.
I did like this episode quite a bit, though. Lots of Mycroft.
